Summer fun!

Today we ran errands and had the Big W (Wendy's) for lunch, the kids don't get to have fast food often so when we do have it, it sure is a treat! We came home and decided today was the day---we set up the new waterslide. We bought it in March, and it has been sitting in the livingroom in it's big box ever since. The kids had a blast. They played on it for almost 2 hours and were so tired that they ate and fell asleep in my bed at 7. I guess it will be an early morning for me LOL I want to hit the gym in the morning before storytime anyway. Tomorrow is our first official day of summer vacation and we have a nice day planned. We are going to hit the gym, go to Storytime with friends, swim at a friends house after that, then home for rest time and reading hour. Then we will start looking at our summer curriculum books (doesn't hurt to keep up on what we learned during the year) and then probably turn the waterslide on for a little afternoon fun. My hope is to keep the TV off except for maybe in the evening. Maybe if it cools off enough we will hit the park in the later afternoon. Here is a pic of today...
